To me exploration isn't about conquering natural obstacles, planting flags... It's not about going where no one's gone before in order to leave your mark, but about the opposite of that—about making yourself vulnerable, opening yourself up to whatever's there and letting the place leave its mark on you. ~ Benedict Allen

Have a hap, hap, happy birthday, Sanjana! Your pals Anu and Leya join me in wishing you.
Absolutely gorgeous - I wish I could see those ruins.
vivin: you must make a trip to bangalore when we're around...
and bring sadhana and rachna with you!
when do you leave for eye-rAq?
I would LOVE to - hopefully it will work out that way. I was with Sadhu and Rach in Kerala last year, and that was a fun and crazy trip. I'm sure we'll all have fun in Bangalore. I did go there last year - I have cousins in B'lore - but the next time I come there, we all have to go see those ruins.
